Does finding peace seem impossible? Do you feel lost and confused? Everyone needs help navigating life’s issues and complexities from time to time. Sometimes these problems can lead to feelings of confusion, depression, anxiety, etc. It takes courage to take the first step into a counseling relationship. Putting ourselves first is often a difficult thing to do. I am here to help you realize that sometimes if ok to not be ok. We will work together to manage any current stressors, find new and positive supports and identify healthy coping skills.
I enjoy working with children, adults, individuals, families and couples. Some of my specific interests include anxiety, depression, phobias, relationships, women’s issues, job stress, and crisis intervention. I focus on CBT, Person-centered therapy, and mindfulness in my sessions. Together we can find solutions that work for you! I look forward to working with you.
Why I Chose to Be A Therapist
I chose to be a mental health therapist for a few reasons. Since high school I was the person my friends came to when they needed help or advice on personal issues or concerns. And since then, I knew I enjoyed being that person they trusted and looked to for help. I enjoy seeing people grow and adapt to new situations and see them move forward into new opportunities that may have not been possible before.
Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
(If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your local emergency room.)
