There’s a lot about life that we can’t change, that we have no control over. Therapy is here to help you take control back over your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. Whatever is currently happening in your life, we can work together to help you find strength and peace.
I work with individuals of all ages: children, adolescents, adults. If you are working through depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, or other stressors in your life, I may be the right fit as your therapist. There is an importance to understanding what is happening in your mind, learning coping strategies, self-compassion, and growth. I am ready to join you on your healing journey.
As a therapist, I believe in the importance of empathy, creating a safe space, and challenging unhelpful beliefs. As a human, I believe in the power of listening, understanding, and genuineness. My goal as a therapist is to help you set goals that are genuine and important to you and help you believe in yourself and your future.
Why I Chose to Become a Therapist
Personally, therapy has changed my life, and I have witnessed how it has helped people I care about as well. Even just the act of having another person listen, understand, and validate you can be healing. Having the additional support of a professional has helped me to understand myself, grow, heal, and has made me a stronger person. I hope to provide that to others.
