President/Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

The thought of meeting with a therapist can be intimidating and I pride myself in my clients describing me as being down-to-earth and easy to talk with. Most individuals who have never pursued therapy before are surprised at how much they enjoy the counseling relationship. Think of it as a gift to yourself!! It is important that my clients are comfortable so they can address their past and present concerns and discover the best version of themselves. I believe that therapy is unique to the individual and that the techniques used should reflect the individual’s needs.

While some problems have concrete solutions, often it is a matter of figuring out how to get through the painful situations in life; not to necessarily solve the problem but learn to find acceptance in it, and determine what it means for you as you move forward.

Within my practice, I work with a variety of populations. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, domestic violence, grief and loss, or other issues, I can help you set goals for yourself and work toward achieving them. I look forward to working with you!

Why I Chose to Be A Therapist

I’ve always enjoyed intimate, one-on-one conversations rather than “small talk” in a large group. I became a therapist because I realized early on that I had a knack for guiding people through darkness. As someone who has fought her own battles, I realized that it was ok to ask for help and fight those battles with not always ease but determination. I celebrate those moments when I see hope in the eyes of a client or a recognition of their greatness. There’s nothing I’d rather do with my life. I consider myself so lucky to do this work.
