Meet Us – Lauren

Student Intern
Is there a story in your mind that you’ve been telling yourself? Has that impacted your relationships with others or even the way you see yourself? I believe that our past experiences impact our present lives, which can leave us feeling out of alignment with our true selves. I strive to meet clients where they are at, utilizing empathy, humor, transparency, curiosity and a warm environment. I aim to create a strong therapeutic relationship through collaboration with clients so that we can identify your personal goals and how to achieve them. If you are ready to make a change in your life (or rewrite your story), I am ready to accompany you on that journey.
Why I Chose To Become A Therapist
During my freshman year of high school, I lost a close friend to suicide. Losing someone in that way changed my entire perspective on life. I remember how difficult it was to talk about with others because of the stigma associated with mental health and suicide. I felt alone and had so many emotions that I couldn’t identify or even begin to process on my own. Because of the immense support and compassion that my own therapist brought to my life,I was able to discover my passion for helping others. She provided me with a safe place to heal and I hope to create that same environment for my own clients.
Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
