Working in the field of mental health for over 13 years I have learned a great deal. The most significant is that the client/therapist relationship is the most important part of the process.

I cherish that relationship and everything that comes with it. I strive daily to be open, caring, supportive, empathic and above all professional.

I have a background in cognitive and intellectual disabilities, eating disorders, cutting, substance abuse, crisis, grief and trauma, LGBT+ issues, domestic violence and sexual trauma/violence.

I pull from all of my learning and experience to create a comfortable atmosphere and use a holistic eclectic approach where we can find what works for you. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults.

Helping my clients identify their goals and seeing them make progress and grow is such an amazing process. As a team we can work together to make the positive changes you are looking for.

Why I Chose to Be A Therapist

Growing up I always knew I wanted to work with people in a helping way I just didn’t know how exactly. When I was a senior in high school I was able to take Intro to Psychology as part of my school schedule and this whole new world opened to me. Suddenly, I was learning about the human brain, Freud, and human behavior. I decided I needed to know everything possible about this subject. I declared my major early in college and knew I wanted to be a therapist.

Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
