Meet Us – Paige
Paige Block
Student Intern
Do you want to make changes in your life but feel unsure about how to proceed? It is a big step to seek out and ask for help. Life throws a lot of challenges our way and many of these challenges take us by surprise and can leave us feeling anxious, stressed, and sometimes depressed.
I’m here to walk with you, at your pace, through those challenges by helping you to uncover and explore the underlying causes of your emotions, see things from a new point of view, and develop skills to cope with both the expected and the unexpected moments of life.
In our sessions, I will strive to create a warm, safe, and trusting environment for us to explore your emotions, thoughts and experiences by working with you to foster a supportive and caring therapeutic relationship. Working together, we will individually tailor your treatment plan for your unique needs in a judgment-free and safe environment, so that you can reach your specific goals.
I am passionate about working with individuals who have ADHD, anxiety, depression, are experiencing life transitions, relationship issues, and lower self-esteem. Allow me to assist you in cultivating the changes you wish to see in your life.
Why I Chose to Be A Therapist
I came into this field after a career shift and some much-needed personal growth. After realizing I was in an unfulfilling career, I finally stopped allowing perceived obstacles to keep me from exploring the one field I had always been interested in: mental health.
Following my own personal therapy, I began my shift into counseling where I believe I have truly, finally come home. It has been so rewarding to be allowed to come along with someone on their life journey, walk with them along their path, and watch them process and grow on their terms.
I find people to be incredibly inspiring and I enjoy the opportunity to provide a space where they can show up as they are, explore their feelings, and evolve in a nonjudgmental and supportive environment. It’s truly an honor to be in the field.
Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
(If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your local emergency room.)
