We are all complex beings filled with unique experiences, emotions, and our own ways of handling stressful and unpredictable situations. From time to time when we don’t fully understand how to handle events that are going on in our lives, we need someone to walk with us through those tough times. As a mental health counselor, I want to walk with you as you navigate through your journey and help you find your way to the answers you are looking for.
I believe that each client is different and has their own unique story that they wish to tell, and because of this, I like to tailor the therapeutic approaches that I work from to meet each client’s specific needs. I primarily see children and adolescents, but I also enjoy working with couples and adults as well. My areas of clinical interest include anxiety, depression, eating disorders/body image issues, grief & loss, couples counseling, and trauma.
Why I Chose To Be A Therapist
Growing up, I watched my own family members struggle with mental health issues that went untreated. It wasn’t until I saw someone close to me reach their breaking point that I decided I wanted to be the person who helped others through their struggles. As I went through my schooling, I began to understand my own mental health struggles and decided to do something about them. Going to therapy was one of the best decisions I have made for myself. Having that unbiased person on your side to help you see things you cannot see yourself has been so helpful and beneficial to my personal well-being and overall mental state.
Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
