FAQ
1. How do I schedule an appointment?
You can contact our practice to request an appointment. Our team will gather information about your needs, insurance, preferred appointment format, and availability and help you determine the next step.
2. How quickly can I get an appointment?
Appointment availability varies depending on the therapist, specialty, location, and insurance.
Contact our practice and we’ll help identify the earliest appropriate appointment available.
3. Can I request a specific therapist?
Yes. You may request a specific therapist if you have someone in mind.
If that therapist isn’t available or isn’t the best clinical fit, our team can help identify another therapist who may be appropriate.
4. Do you offer in-person therapy?
Yes. We offer in-person appointments at our Illinois locations, Bloomingdale and Bolingbrook subject to therapist availability.
5. Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. We offer telehealth appointments for eligible clients, subject to clinical, insurance, and other applicable requirements.
6. What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
Our practice has cancellation and rescheduling policies designed to help us maintain appointment availability for all patients.
Please review our current cancellation policy or contact our office if you need to change an appointment.
7. What happens if I am late to my appointment?
Late-arrival policies can vary depending on the therapist and type of appointment. Contact our office as soon as possible if you know you will be late.
8. Do you provide emergency mental health services?
Our practice provides outpatient mental health services and is not a substitute for emergency medical or psychiatric care.
If you are experiencing an immediate emergency or believe you may be in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis and need immediate support, contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
