Stress! A common feeling felt by everyone.

Although stress is often seen as an enemy, it can have both positive and negative effects on the human body. It is when stress is prolonged, constant, or unwarranted that it becomes problematic.

Everyone experiences things or life events that cause stress such as a marriage or a divorce, job loss or promotion,packing and moving, irritating coworkers,death of a loved one, personal illness etc. Activities like meditation and exercise can help relieve stress and allow you to break the cycle of continual stress.

Stress management offers a wide range of activities to help you better manage the negative effects: Try spending time with friends and family, talk with a therapist, take a break from work and participate in a hobby, learn to say no when needed. Also, staying away from drugs and alcohol, eating healthy and exercising will help too! Remember Stress is an automatic physical, mental and emotional response to a challenging event. It’s a normal part of everyone’s life.
