Meet Us – Katie

Katie Wiese
Masters Level Intern
I work with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with stress/burnout, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, ADHD, identity questions, relationship issues, and life adjustments. I will encourage you to use creativity, self-exploration, community building, play, and even humor to explore the unique tools that may be helpful for you. My goal is to create an environment where all clients feel seen, empowered and have the resources they need to thrive in their schools, workplaces, and social lives.
My clients often describe me as warm, attentive, easygoing, and encouraging. As a result, I am passionate about creating an equitable space for all. I am LGBTQ+ friendly, happy to work with neurodiverse folks, and people of all races, religions, and cultures. It would be my absolute honor to walk you towards a place of growth, hope, and healing.
FAQ
1. How do I know which therapist is right for me?
If you’re unsure who would be the best fit, our team can help guide you.
2. How are your therapists selected?
When matching you with a therapist, we consider your needs and goals as well as the therapist’s experience and availability.
3. Will I have a real person helping me choose a therapist?
You don’t have to search through dozens of therapist profiles and try to determine on your own who might be the right fit.
4. Can I request a specific therapist?
If that therapist isn’t available or isn’t the best clinical fit, our team can help identify another therapist who may be appropriate.
5. What if my therapist isn’t the right fit for me?
If you don’t feel that your therapist is the right fit, we encourage you to communicate with us. Because we are a group practice with therapists who have different specialties and approaches, we may be able to help you find another therapist within our practice who better matches your needs. You should never feel that you have to stay with a therapist simply because you started with them.
6. Can I see another therapist at the practice if my needs change?
One benefit of a group practice is that you have access to therapists with different areas of expertise. Your needs may change over time, and your care can change with them.
7. What happens if my therapist leaves the practice?
As a group practice, we may be able to help you transition to another therapist within our practice who is appropriate for your needs.
8. Do I have to know exactly what I need before contacting you?
No.
You don’t need to know your diagnosis, treatment plan, or even which type of therapist you need before reaching out.
That’s part of what our team is here to help with.
Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
