Licensed Professional Counselor

Life can bring unexpected obstacles, and it’s normal to feel like you need a little extra support along the way. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, or something else, I’m here to help you find your path forward. My goal is to meet you where you are and provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, challenges, and goals. I have a special passion for working with children, adolescents, and families, but I’m also open to supporting adults as they navigate their unique challenges. I believe in an empathetic, down-to-earth approach where we can work together to uncover solutions that make sense for you.

Why I Chose to Become a Therapist
I’ve always known the power of therapy, not just as a career, but as a personal journey. After being diagnosed with anxiety and ADHD in high school, I struggled to find the support I needed. When I finally connected with a therapist, it gave me the tools and strength to heal. That experience showed me the importance of having someone to talk to, someone who listens without judgment. From that moment, I knew I wanted to be that support for others. I believe that everyone has the ability to create meaningful change in their life. My goal as a therapist is to empower you to overcome obstacles, discover your inner strength, and work toward your personal growth and well-being.

FAQ

1. How do I know which therapist is right for me?
Finding the right therapist is an important part of successful treatment. We consider factors such as your concerns, goals, preferred therapeutic approach, availability, location, etc.

If you’re unsure who would be the best fit, our team can help guide you.

2. How are your therapists selected?
Our practice brings together mental health professionals with different backgrounds, areas of expertise, and clinical interests.

When matching you with a therapist, we consider your needs and goals as well as the therapist’s experience and availability.

3. Will I have a real person helping me choose a therapist?
Yes. If you aren’t sure where to start, our team can help you navigate the process.

You don’t have to search through dozens of therapist profiles and try to determine on your own who might be the right fit.

4. Can I request a specific therapist?
Yes. You may request a specific therapist if you have someone in mind.

If that therapist isn’t available or isn’t the best clinical fit, our team can help identify another therapist who may be appropriate.

5. What if my therapist isn’t the right fit for me?
Finding the right therapeutic relationship matters.

If you don’t feel that your therapist is the right fit, we encourage you to communicate with us. Because we are a group practice with therapists who have different specialties and approaches, we may be able to help you find another therapist within our practice who better matches your needs. You should never feel that you have to stay with a therapist simply because you started with them.

6. Can I see another therapist at the practice if my needs change?
Yes, when clinically appropriate and subject to availability.

One benefit of a group practice is that you have access to therapists with different areas of expertise. Your needs may change over time, and your care can change with them.

7. What happens if my therapist leaves the practice?
If your therapist is no longer available, our team can help you explore options for continuing care.

As a group practice, we may be able to help you transition to another therapist within our practice who is appropriate for your needs.

8. Do I have to know exactly what I need before contacting you?

No.

You don’t need to know your diagnosis, treatment plan, or even which type of therapist you need before reaching out.

That’s part of what our team is here to help with.

Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
