Meet Us – Carlos

Carlos Gabler
Masters Level Intern
I provide compassionate, individualized therapy for adolescents and adults, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. My goal is to create a space where you can feel safe, respected, understood, and free to be yourself without judgment. My clients often describe me as a ray of sunshine who is down to earth, empathetic, funny, understanding, and compassionate.
Therapy isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about developing a better understanding of yourself, learning healthier ways to cope, processing experiences that have impacted you, and building a life that feels more authentic and manageable. You don’t have to know exactly what you need from therapy before reaching out. We can figure that out together. You deserve a place where you can show up exactly as you are and be heard.
FAQ
1. How do I know which therapist is right for me?
If you’re unsure who would be the best fit, our team can help guide you.
2. How are your therapists selected?
When matching you with a therapist, we consider your needs and goals as well as the therapist’s experience and availability.
3. Will I have a real person helping me choose a therapist?
You don’t have to search through dozens of therapist profiles and try to determine on your own who might be the right fit.
4. Can I request a specific therapist?
If that therapist isn’t available or isn’t the best clinical fit, our team can help identify another therapist who may be appropriate.
5. What if my therapist isn’t the right fit for me?
If you don’t feel that your therapist is the right fit, we encourage you to communicate with us. Because we are a group practice with therapists who have different specialties and approaches, we may be able to help you find another therapist within our practice who better matches your needs. You should never feel that you have to stay with a therapist simply because you started with them.
6. Can I see another therapist at the practice if my needs change?
One benefit of a group practice is that you have access to therapists with different areas of expertise. Your needs may change over time, and your care can change with them.
7. What happens if my therapist leaves the practice?
As a group practice, we may be able to help you transition to another therapist within our practice who is appropriate for your needs.
8. Do I have to know exactly what I need before contacting you?
No.
You don’t need to know your diagnosis, treatment plan, or even which type of therapist you need before reaching out.
That’s part of what our team is here to help with.
Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
