Hi there and congratulations on taking the first step to a new you. Connection matters, we weren’t meant to go through life’s challenges alone. I understand that trying to seek help can be difficult and I believe everyone deserves a safe space to express themselves and learn how to cope with the struggles in life. As a foundation to the counseling relationship, I help clients and families understand the process of therapy and that all people, children and adults, grow and heal on their own time. I believe that by providing a safe and supportive environment, clients are able to make positive, lasting change.

I work with children, adolescents and adults. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. I am well prepared and unafraid to help you walk through these difficult times.

I am a very patient, empathetic and genuine person. I will always provide unique individualized counseling to each person I see. Together we can set goals and work towards achieving them to ensure that you are living your best life.

Why I Chose To Be A Therapist

Growing up I always knew I wanted to help people. I had a passion for watching people grow and succeed. I was always the go-to friend for help and have always been known to be extremely positive and easy to talk to. As I worked my way through school, I knew counseling was where I needed to be. Therapy can be life changing and I love to witness that with my clients!

FAQ

1. How do I know which therapist is right for me?
Finding the right therapist is an important part of successful treatment. We consider factors such as your concerns, goals, preferred therapeutic approach, availability, location, etc.

If you’re unsure who would be the best fit, our team can help guide you.

2. How are your therapists selected?
Our practice brings together mental health professionals with different backgrounds, areas of expertise, and clinical interests.

When matching you with a therapist, we consider your needs and goals as well as the therapist’s experience and availability.

3. Will I have a real person helping me choose a therapist?
Yes. If you aren’t sure where to start, our team can help you navigate the process.

You don’t have to search through dozens of therapist profiles and try to determine on your own who might be the right fit.

4. Can I request a specific therapist?
Yes. You may request a specific therapist if you have someone in mind.

If that therapist isn’t available or isn’t the best clinical fit, our team can help identify another therapist who may be appropriate.

5. What if my therapist isn’t the right fit for me?
Finding the right therapeutic relationship matters.

If you don’t feel that your therapist is the right fit, we encourage you to communicate with us. Because we are a group practice with therapists who have different specialties and approaches, we may be able to help you find another therapist within our practice who better matches your needs. You should never feel that you have to stay with a therapist simply because you started with them.

6. Can I see another therapist at the practice if my needs change?
Yes, when clinically appropriate and subject to availability.

One benefit of a group practice is that you have access to therapists with different areas of expertise. Your needs may change over time, and your care can change with them.

7. What happens if my therapist leaves the practice?
If your therapist is no longer available, our team can help you explore options for continuing care.

As a group practice, we may be able to help you transition to another therapist within our practice who is appropriate for your needs.

8. Do I have to know exactly what I need before contacting you?

No.

You don’t need to know your diagnosis, treatment plan, or even which type of therapist you need before reaching out.

That’s part of what our team is here to help with.

Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
