Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Everyone needs help at times, whether it requires addressing past issues or more current problems, therapy enables you to receive necessary support, develop skills, embrace your strengths, and make desired changes in a safe, judgment-free space. As no two individuals are exactly alike, sessions are tailored to meet your own unique needs. I enjoy assisting my clients in the creation of meaningful, realistic goals for themselves. I will strive to provide you the support, empathy, and empowerment needed in order to help you successfully achieve your goals by building upon your existing strengths and skills.

I have been described as easy to talk to, genuinely understanding, and laid back. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, as well as adults, and I am experienced working with depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, social skills, and more.

Together, we can address the issues holding you back, establish goals, and take the steps necessary to make these goals a reality.

Why I Chose to Be A Therapist

I am a mental health therapist because I learned how important and valuable it is to have at least one person in your life who is in your corner, on your side, unquestionably cheering and advocating for your best interests. Personally, there was one person in my life, from the time I was young and throughout my adult years, whom I could count on for anything, both during times of happiness as well as distress. Since truly realizing this person’s immensely positive impact on my life, it has been my life’s goal to pay that forward to anyone I could. I have always wanted to be the person for others to lean on when they need it.

FAQ

1. How do I know which therapist is right for me?
Finding the right therapist is an important part of successful treatment. We consider factors such as your concerns, goals, preferred therapeutic approach, availability, location, etc.

If you’re unsure who would be the best fit, our team can help guide you.

2. How are your therapists selected?
Our practice brings together mental health professionals with different backgrounds, areas of expertise, and clinical interests.

When matching you with a therapist, we consider your needs and goals as well as the therapist’s experience and availability.

3. Will I have a real person helping me choose a therapist?
Yes. If you aren’t sure where to start, our team can help you navigate the process.

You don’t have to search through dozens of therapist profiles and try to determine on your own who might be the right fit.

4. Can I request a specific therapist?
Yes. You may request a specific therapist if you have someone in mind.

If that therapist isn’t available or isn’t the best clinical fit, our team can help identify another therapist who may be appropriate.

5. What if my therapist isn’t the right fit for me?
Finding the right therapeutic relationship matters.

If you don’t feel that your therapist is the right fit, we encourage you to communicate with us. Because we are a group practice with therapists who have different specialties and approaches, we may be able to help you find another therapist within our practice who better matches your needs. You should never feel that you have to stay with a therapist simply because you started with them.

6. Can I see another therapist at the practice if my needs change?
Yes, when clinically appropriate and subject to availability.

One benefit of a group practice is that you have access to therapists with different areas of expertise. Your needs may change over time, and your care can change with them.

7. What happens if my therapist leaves the practice?
If your therapist is no longer available, our team can help you explore options for continuing care.

As a group practice, we may be able to help you transition to another therapist within our practice who is appropriate for your needs.

8. Do I have to know exactly what I need before contacting you?

No.

You don’t need to know your diagnosis, treatment plan, or even which type of therapist you need before reaching out.

That’s part of what our team is here to help with.

Your mental health starts with you. Let us help you on your journey.
